The Chinthamani Ganapathi Homam paves the way for pathways to attain greater wealth, employing powerful mantras and fire ceremonies. The Chinthamani Ganapathy Temple, a prominent Ashtavinayaka Temple of Lord Ganesh, is located in Theur, Maharashtra, India, about 25 kilometers from Pune. Morya Gosavi achieved spiritual realization here, and his son constructed the temple to commemorate this event.
According to the legend, King Abhijit and his wife Gunavathi had a son named Gana. During his visit to Sage Kapila, he coveted the Chintamani, a wish-fulfilling gemstone that Kapila possessed. Despite Kapila’s refusal, Gana forcefully took the gemstone. Upon the advice of Goddess Durga, Kapila worshiped Ganapathy. Through the power of devotion, Kapila fought and defeated Gana. Abhijit returned the jewel to Kapila, who no longer desired it. Ganapathi chose to stay at that spot beneath the Kadamba tree and named himself CHINTAMANI.
